Part of our Tea Total, single origin tea collection.
Ceylon (Sri Lanka) is unique within the tea world as it has two seasonal monsoons as opposed to other growing regions that have just one. This means that they can produce quality tea all year round. In the centre of Ceylon is a mountainous region where most of the tea estates can be found. Nuwara Eliya teas are grown at the foot of Sri Lanka’s highest mountain where the harsher climatic conditions and scents of native vegetation help produce some of the world's most delightful teas renowned for their bright flavoursome liquors. They are subtley golden in colour and are highly regarded within the tea world being intensely sought after.
Beautifully floral & mellow with a light, golden cup that brings to mind apricots and peaches
