Tulsi (Holy Basil)
PRODUCT INFO
Part of our Tea Total, single origin tea collection.
Tulsi is commonly known as holy basil. “Holy” because of its history of religious and spiritual significance, and “basil” because it comes from the same perennial herb and shrub family as the common cooking basil. It is mainly grown in India, but it isn’t actually anything like the basil we know here. Widely consumed throughout India (much more than coffee!), many families grow their own plants. A healing balm for the mind and body; tulsi is not only a delicious herbal tea,
Tasting notes
Tusli has the spicy aroma of cloves and its leaves mimic the sharp, crisp flavours of pepper
